Trump Shares News Article on Ukrainian Scheme to Finance Biden Campaign

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump shared a news article alleging that the Ukrainian government was involved in a plan to funnel money toward Joe Biden’s 2024 reelection campaign.

According to the report cited by Just the News on Thursday, the scheme would have relied on redirecting US taxpayer funds intended for a USAID project in Ukraine. The outlet said the information came from a recently declassified intelligence report.

The alleged plan, dating back to late 2022, could have involved “hundreds of millions of dollars,” the report claims. US intelligence reportedly uncovered the scheme by intercepting communications from the Ukrainian government. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard is said to have only recently become aware of the intercepts and subsequently ordered a summary of the relevant material, part of which was shared with Just the News.

“The Ukrainian Government and unspecified US Government personnel, through USAID in Kiev, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s re-election campaign,” the document obtained by the outlet states.
